Shower, Glass, & Mirror Care
Proper care of your glass, mirror, and shower enclosures will ensure years of looking beautiful. Here are some tips that will help.
Everything you need to care for your shower enclosure.
Rinse & Wipe After Each Use
The best way to keep your new enclosure looking new is to rinse and wipe the metal and glass surfaces with a soft cloth or squeegee after each use.
Use Cleaners Approved For Your Finished Surface
Avoid abrasive cleaners, hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids, abrasive brushes, razor blades, and sharp objects that can damage the finishing on your hardware or scratch the glass of your enclosure.
Clean Weekly
Clean weekly using mild soap and water. We recommend ivory liquid soaps and the appropriatly labeled Lysol pump cleaners. Apply and rinse using a soft non-abrasive cloth.
Liquid Glass Surface Protectors
CRL TPC (Transparent Polymer Coating) surface protector helps to repel water from the surface of your glass enclosure. Makes it that much easier to wipe or squeegee your enclosure after each use.
Keep Shower Door Open
Keeping the shower enclosure open will allow air to circulate and reduce mildew growth.
Spot Mildew Treatment
Mildew that forms over time on the silicone caulking or vinyl stripping can be spot treated with 50/50 bleach and water. Avoid using mixture on glass surface or hardware.
